Welcome to Kaufmann Karate! We have been in business for 12 years. We specialize in traditional Okinawn karate. We also offer Jiu Jitsu, Okinawn Kobudo, and  Sport Karate. We accept students ages 4 and up.

Renshi James Kaufmann

• 2007 USA Martial Arts Hall of Fame Inductee
• Head Instructor of Kaufmann's Karate
• 4th degree Black Belt Shorin Ryu Karate
• 3rd degree Black Belt Gendai no Bushido Ryu
• 1st degree Black Belt Kobudo
• ARC CPR Certified
• ARC First Aid Certified

Among Sensei Kaufmann's many achievements he was inducted in to the U.S.A. martial arts hall of fame in 2007. Sensei Kaufmann has trained many law enforcement officers and worked with their agencies on practical self-defense. Sensei Kaufmann has produced many state and national champions in karate and submission grappling.

On May 16th, 2009, Sensei Kaufmann was promoted to Yodan (4th degree black belt) and awarded the title of Renshi meaning polished practitioner or master of ones self. He currently trains under Shodai Gene Thorner out of Lakeland, Florida.

Sensei Jackie Hall

Sensei Jackie began her training in 2002 under the direction of Sensei Kaufmann. Since making her 1st degree black belt in 2006, Sensei Jackie has become one of the schools top black belt instructors and regularly teaches our Little Ninja program. Sensei Jackie is also a coach for  the Kaufmann's Warriors competition team.
