Tallahassee -- Three people have been named winners in the 2011 Florida State Parks Photo Contest.
The Florida Department of Environmental Protection's Florida Park Service made the announcement Friday with the top three selected from 12 monthly photo contest winners throughout the year.
Visitors of the Florida Online Park Guide voted each month to determine a winner. Professional photographers then evaluated each month's winning pics to pick the top three winners.

Second place went to Heidi Hopwood's, Edge of the Fountain of Youth, at De Leon Springs State Park in De Leon Springs and Kristin Crawford came in third with Max at Sunset taken at Honeymoon Island State Park in Dunedin.
