Man robs gas station while dressed as a woman | Crime

Brooksville, FL -- Authorities in Brooksville are looking for a man they say robbed a Marathon Gas Station while wearing a wig, women's dress, and women's shoes.

Brooksville Police say the man in women's clothes and a wig entered the Marathon station located at 600 E. Jefferson street at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday.

He pointed a gun at the store clerk and demanded money from the register. The clerk complied, and gave him all the money. The suspect put the money in his purse and fled.

Police utilized a K-9 unit and helicopter to search for the suspect with no results.

The investigation and search continues.
