New Year's Pet Adoption Evet | Events

Weeki Wachee, FL-- The Animal Care Center of Weeki Wachee will host a New Year's Pet Adoption event this coming Sunday, January 6 in an effort to find homes for cats and dogs in Hernando County. 

According to event organizers, several pet rescue organizations and pet foster families will have dogs and cats from the facility at the event ready for adoption to forever homes.

The event, organized by the Animal Rescue Friends Network, will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and will offer coupons for 50 percent off vaccinations, free doggie daycare, free grooming for all adopters and free advice from an animal trainer 

In addition, hot dogs and soda will be available for sale as well as tickets for door prizes - including specialty dog collars and a $150 gift certificate to the Palm Restaurant. All proceeds from the sale of these items will go to the Friends groups.
