Brooksville, Fla. -- On Friday, Feb. 17, the county announced the project contractor, D.A.B. Construction, finished constructing and paving of the left turn lanes on Elgin Boulevard.
The county says the contractor is paving the final asphalt course along the mainline of Elgin Boulevard and temporary striping has been installed. Some milling work remains to be done on the side street and sod is being installed in the median and will soon be installed on Landover.
Traffic lane adjustments and shifts will no longer be needed as traffic will be using all lanes by the end of this week, depending on weather conditions.
The concrete traffic signal poles and lights at Landover Boulevard have been removed and switched over to the new signals previously installed. New signal features continue being installed/completed/connected to both Mariner and Landover intersections.
The contract is 344 days into its 390 contract according to the county.
