Two local questions on General Election ballot

All Hernando County Voters will be asked to mark their ballots "yes" or "no" on two questions which will appear on the November 6th General Election ballot. 

The first question is whether you favor the levy of a property tax of up to one-tenth of one mil (.1 mil) to fund the acquisition, management, and maintenance of environmentally sensitive lands, with the program to sunset on Sept. 20, 2021.

Hernando Co., FL --  Hernando County Government Broadcasting has scheduled the broadcast of a segment of "Understanding the Law" moderated by Circuit Judge Richard Tombrink, in which three local attorneys discuss the proposed Constitutional Amendments which will appear on the November 6th General Election ballot.

Judge Tombrink has hosted "Understanding the Law" on Channel 622 for several years.  It is a periodic program in which he has discussed various legal topics with guests who are in the legal profession in Hernando County.

Hernando County, FL-- The Hernando County Supervisor of Elections Office has sent out a warning to all voters. Some have reportedly received a letter questioning the status of their citizenship, and the Supervisor of Elections says the letter did not originate at their office, nor any of the other 67 offices.
