Comparing temperatures from May 2011 to May 2010 in Brooksville | Weather
Title (Max 100 Charaters)
We haven't reached August yet, but that isn't stopping Mother Nature from bombarding us with mid-summer heat.
Today, I'm going to compare May 2011 with May 2010 (even though the month isn't over) in Hernando County, using temperature data from my weather station. I will probably update at the end of the month to account for the extra days.
This May has been pretty hot, with temperature-related RER's (Record Event Reports) being issued for several locations across the Tampa Bay area. At times, it has felt like mid summer here in Brooksville.
Below is daily high temperature data from my weather station for this month and May 2010. The average high temperature last May was two degrees warmer than this May, at 88.
However, this month is not yet over, and the temperature will likely be equal to or warmer than last May once I update at the end of the month, if the current trend holds through the end of this month.
