Woman crashes car into man's garage during argument

Spring Hill, Florida -- A Hudson woman was arrested Sunday after she crashed her SUV into a man's garage during an argument. 

According to the police report, on Saturday, 26-year-old Sierra Peters was arguing with a man at his home on Pickford Street in Spring Hill when she got angry and drove her Dodge Durango through his garage door damaging the door, the garage wall and a Harley Davidson motorcycle parked inside. Police say the damage totaled over $5,000.

Weeki Wachee, Florida -- One brother is in jail and another got a bloody nose after an argument that began over a block of cheese.

According to the arrest affidavit, the argument escalated between the brothers when one of them called the other's girlfriend a prostitute. That's when 21-year-old Cody Prosser punched his brother in the face, landing him in jail Monday afternoon.

Since the brother's live together, Prosser was charged with Domestic Battery.

Brooksville, Florida -- A Brooksville woman left her mother's home in handcuffs Thursday after she refused to leave.

According to police, 64-year-old Mary Atherton-Wright's mother called police saying her daughter, who came over to visit, wouldn't leave and was destroying her house. When officer arrived they told her to leave or she would be arrested.

Mary refused and a struggle ensued between her and the officers. She was eventually arrested and charged with trespass and resisting an officer without violence.

She is being held on $1,000 bond.

13-year-old admits to stealing AK-47

Brooksville, Florida -- It's a situation that could have ended in tragedy.

Hernando deputies say a 13-year-old boy admits to stealing an AK-47 assault rifle.

10 News has learned the boy's mother is a maid and he had been helping her clean a home in Spring Hill. He grabbed the gun and some ammo from the home because, detectives say, he really liked it and knew his mother would never buy one of his own.

After a detective notified the mother of the theft, she eventually located the rifle bag hidden in her son's closet.

Brooksville, Fla. -- Brooksville Police Department officers were called to the home at 630 North Avenue in response to a stolen fence and swing set.

When they arrived, it was revealed that the suspect, 31-year-old Charles Robinson, had stolen the fence and swing set, hauled them away and scrapped them out at a local recycling center.

Robinson was arrested for dealing in stolen property and petit theft. He was taken into custody and transported to the Hernando County Jail where he is held on $5,250 bond.

Officers find crack pipe in 'special' hiding place

Brooksville, FL -- Officers got a surprise during a thorough search of a woman as she was being processed at the Hernando County Jail Tuesday.

According to Brooksville Police, 33-year-old Jeri Chambers was arrested around 4 a.m. during a traffic stop at the intersection of Cobb Road and Cortez Boulevard. During a K-9 sniff of the car, officers were alerted to a small amount of crack cocaine in Chambers' purse, who was a passenger in the car.

Employees fight back against robber

Spring Hill, FL -- Employees at a tattoo store didn't take an robbery attempt lying down. Instead, they fought back and captured the robber.

According the Hernando County Sheriff's Office, on Jan. 28 around 8:05 p.m., 44-year-old David Pereira entered the Addiction Ink tattoo store, at 10485 Haley Street, and demanded for the owner and his sister's money back.

Four employees struggled with Pereira and held him down until police came.
